Roles & Responsibilities:

\n

\nDevelop standardized policies, processes, approaches, and tools for the Information Technology function in line with strategic direction and objectives.

\n

\nDevelops the Information Technology functions business plan, budget and resources while ensuring alignment with overall strategy and direction.

\n

\nManage the implementation of the strategic initiatives and objectives, as applicable to the Information Technology function, and ensure it is communicated properly to all individuals within the department.

\n

\nSupport general operational directions regarding the various aspects of IT such as, application selection, implementation and support as well as network management and operation services.

\n

\nDirect and lead the design of the IT architecture, infrastructure and applications, and ensure designs and implementations of database management systems meet URED s business needs.

\n

\nDirect the implementation or upgrade of new Information Technology/ new enhancements projects to ensure proper coordination with other departments heads and users.

\n

\nManage the backup, security and recovery for companys database.

\n

\nManage the process of pre- implementation, implementation and post implementation of new enhancements / applications to ensure proper coordination with other managers and users.

\n

\nMonitor hardware and software installations, and ensure that new company employees are adequately orientated in regards of computers and applications.

\n

\nProvide inputs and recommendations to enhance company s IT Services policies & procedures.

\n

\nAssess source of computer problems (hardware, software, user access, etc.) and ensure that employees are aware of appropriate action.

\n

\nLead integration of network management tools and applications to expand network operation performance.

\n

\nProvide advice, guidance, direction, and authorization departments employees to carry out major plans and procedures,

\n

\nconsistent with established policies. And ensure effective and efficient flow of work, and ensure all employees recognize their fundamental role in the department.

\n

\nConduct annual performance appraisal to review employees work performance and recommend , adjustments, rewards and promotions based on employee performance and carry out disciplinary meetings when needed.
